(Xinhua) An evolution driven by data is quietly unfolding within China's robotics landscape, one that is expected to transform the fabric of daily life.  

At a busy training facility in western suburban Beijing, the 1.66-meter-tall humanoid robots were using VR and motion capture system to learn practical skills like warehouse tasks, material sorting, and product packaging.  

This scene, far from a mere tech showcase, captured a critical evolution in China's robotics sector: the transition of humanoid robots from executing laboratory stunts to learning practical skills in "vocational schools."

The robots, which are named Kuavo, are fast learners.

The joint venture between Volkswagen Group and FAW Group said that the batch of 554 Magotan and Sagitar sedans will be shipped to the Middle East as part of its broader push into overseas markets.

(China Daily) Mercedes-Benz will soon roll out a smart driving system in China in partnership with Chinese autonomous driving startup Momenta, starting with the electric CLA sedan due this fall.  

The system, jointly developed using Momenta's "Flywheel" large AI model, will enable point-to-point assisted driving on highways, city streets and parking lots, the companies said Wednesday.  

The technology will later expand to other Mercedes models sold in China.

A total of 11,116 units of the Jaecoo 7 plug-in model were sold throughout the nine months, outpacing all other gasoline-powered, hybrid, and full electric models.

(China Daily) State-owned China Triumph International Engineering Co Ltd, the world's largest glass engineering service provider, announced the successful ignition of an 800-ton-per-day ultra-clear rolled photovoltaic (PV) glass production line in Tarsus city, Turkiye, on Friday.  

The facility is the largest of its kind in Europe and West Asia, and Turkiye's largest and most technologically advanced PV glass production line.

(China Daily) China's Tianwen 2 asteroid sampling spacecraft has been on its interplanetary itinerary for more than four months, and is now over 43 million kilometers away from Earth, according to the China National Space Administration.  

The robotic probe is currently traveling on a transfer trajectory toward its destination, a near-Earth asteroid called 2016 HO3, and is in good working condition, the space administration said in a news release on Wednesday.
