(Xinhua) Apple on Tuesday announced iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, featuring the Dynamic Island and an advanced camera system.
A 48MP Main camera enables super-high-resolution photos and a new 2x Telephoto option to give users a total of three optical zoom levels, the company said.
Building on Apple's satellite infrastructure in the iPhone 15 lineup, Roadside Assistance via satellite can connect users to the American Automobile Association if they have car trouble while off the grid.
With A16 Bionic chip, USB-C connector, and durability features, iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus "represent a huge leap forward," Apple said.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be available in five new colors. Pre-orders begin on Sept. 15, with availability beginning on Sept. 22.
